SPRING 2027 TRY-OUTS ARE EARLY NOVEMBER

Dress in baseball pants, wear cleats, bring turf shoes (pitchers), and bring all of your gear: glove, bats, catcher's gear, helmet, etc. Bring 2-3 waters or sports drinks. **DO NOT wear cleats for try-outs at RISE, turf or tennis shoes ONLY.

Players should arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the start time of try-outs, check-in, respond to the dugout and begin to stretch and warm-up. Try-Outs will last between 1-2 hours. Please do not arrive more than 20 minutes before the scheduled start time as to allow our coaches & personnel to prep the field.

Any changes to the dates or times will be emailed to those registered, so check your email including the day of.

For Try-Outs at DYC:

• Ages 7U-12U will be on the LOWER fields, please park up top (lower lot is for handicap & head coaches). 13U & above will be on Zach Wright, the "big field".

For Try-Outs at RISE:

• Enter the main front door tell the check in desk you are there for NC Made. Players should wear TENNIS/TURF shoes ONLY and respond to the turf quads with their equipment. Parents are NOT permitted on the quads and can observe from the upper deck or exterior bleachers.

We love our parents & encourage you to stay at the try-out. We ask that you sit away from the player dugout so the players can remain focused. We encourage you to speak with the coaches after try-outs to ask any questions that you may have. 

Once the try-outs are complete, coaches will contact parents to invite players  to the team. In some cases, players will be invited to open practice. In most cases, being invited to a open practice does not equal a spot on the team. 

Coaches will speak with parents about the practices and team selection, tournaments, playing time, etc. at the parent meeting & uniform fitting.
