Our Coaches are hand selected by our Executive Board of Directors & have a wide range of experience and talent, both on and off of the field. They balance a competitive edge with the nurturing and growth needed in order for a team to thrive.
They are a combination of volunteers and hired specialists, such as our Player Development Coach.

7U
Coach Alex Mazanti is originally from Memphis Tennessee and moved to Davie county 6 years ago. Alex’s baseball journey spans from T-ball to high school athletics, fueling his lifelong dedication to the sport. He is passionate about unlocking player potential and instilling a lasting love for the game in the next generation. Driven by the rewarding "lightbulb moments" of youth development, Alex prioritizes building strong relationships, promoting sportsmanship, and establishing foundational skills.
Alex works at Wake Forest Baptist hospital in the engineering department. He is supported by his wife Danielle and their 3 children, Uriah, Gabriel, and Eden.

8U BLUE
Coach Billy Martin , a native of Davie County, has played baseball from a young age through both Little League and competitive travel baseball. His lifelong passion for the game led him into coaching, where he is dedicated to developing players both on and off the field.
Known for emphasizing fundamentals, teamwork, discipline, hard work, and respect, Billy strives to help athletes build confidence, improve their skills, and grow their love for the game. He is committed to creating a positive and competitive environment where players can succeed both in baseball and in life.
Billy is supported by his wife, Alex, and their two boys, Foster and Jaxson, who share his love for family, baseball, and community.

8U GREEN
Coach Cody Logan is a dedicated youth baseball coach and mentor who has been actively involved on the baseball field since 2023. Cody has built a strong reputation for developing young athletes both on and off the field with his wife, Karen, & son, Bentley, by his side. He has successfully coached 8U All-Star teams and led competitive machine pitch teams focusing on teamwork, sportsmanship, confidence, and player development.
Coach Logan is passionate about creating a positive environment where kids can grow their love for the game while learning valuable life skills.

9U BLUE
Originally from East Tennessee, Coach Daniel Manning has lived in Davie County for 3 years and serves as the Worship Pastor at Rescue House Church in Mocksville. He started playing baseball at the age of 4 and played through high school, helping lead his high school team to 2 Conference titles.
He’s been coaching youth baseball through Davie Little League for 5 seasons, where his main focus has been to create a culture of enjoyment with his players, while intentionally developing their skill set and passion for the game. Daniel has been married to his wife , Savannah, for 11 years and they have 4 boys.

9U GREEN
Coach Tyler Correll grew up in Davie County, where his love for baseball began at a young age. He played both school and travel ball throughout his youth and into high school. Being coached by his father played a major role in shaping his values, work ethic, and passion for the game.
Tyler has a genuine love for coaching and helping young athletes develop their skills, confidence, and understanding of baseball. He has spent four seasons coaching Little League and the past three years coaching travel ball. His focus is on building not only his players’ baseball IQ but also their respect for the game and for each other.
Outside of baseball, Tyler and his wife, Jodi, have been married for 10 years and are proud parents to three children — Harper, Jaxon, and Dawson.

10U BlUE
Coach Lee Renegar grew up in Yadkin County, where his love for baseball began at an early age. He played youth and travel baseball throughout his childhood up until high school, building a deep understanding and appreciation for the game. That passion has since evolved into a strong commitment to coaching youth baseball.
Lee finds his greatest fulfillment in helping young players develop both on and off the field through fundamental coaching and training. He believes in teaching the game the right way—instilling discipline, confidence, and teamwork in every athlete he works with.
Outside the ballfield, Lee is a devoted husband to his wife, Kayla, and a proud father to their two children, Hollyn and Kolbryn.

9U (Spring Only)
Bryan grew up in Asheboro, NC and moved to Davie County in his twenties. He grew up playing baseball and found a new love for the game in coaching kids.
His focus is establishing empathy and confidence in our youth, emphasizing baseball IQ, fundamentals, and helping produce productive players for our high school team.
He and his wife, Brittany Tugwell, of thirteen years have two kids, ages 7 and 3.

11U
Originally from West Virginia, Coach Phillip Cummings now resides in Iredell County. He is a Division EHS Manager for Corning, Inc. and serves in several capacities at Trinity Methodist Church in Statesville as a Youth Supporter, Finance Treasurer, and is on the Church Administrative Council. He started playing baseball at the age of 5 and played through high school. While in college, he enjoyed recreational play and spectating WVU baseball, Pirates, and Reds games. He can recall some of the best memories of his youth were created while playing baseball, and had several influential coaches.
He started coaching in 2019, and joined NCMade in Spring 2025, where his main focus is to allow up and coming youth a chance to expand their skill level with positive encouragement to promote development of basic athletic mechanics. His intent is to conduct an environment that allows player to develop a love for the game while playing competitively and exemplify good character and sportsmanship. His mission is to be an influential figure to our youth to help them in one aspect of their development to become respectable young adults. Philip has been married to his wife, Megan, for 11 years and they have two children, Hailey and Cason.

12U BLUE
Coach Justin Dotsonwas born and raised in Davie County. He is currently the Athletics and Program Director at Davie County Recreation & Parks.
He has been a part of the youth sports community within Davie County and beyond for over 20 years, including serving as a coach for various sports programs. Coaching is something he is passionate about as he believes in developing each player to reach their full potential and also instilling the concept of a team, all while making it an enjoyable experience for the families!
Justin has been married to his wife, Laura Beth, for 11 years and they have a son, Kace.

12U GREEN
Coach Ryan Preslar grew up in Surry County, but now he calls Yadkin County his home. He grew up playing multiple sports, but baseball was always his favorite. He has coached baseball and volunteered for 5 years.
His goals as a coach are to develop confidence, motivate and improve each player, all while having fun in a family atmosphere.
Off the field, Ryan has been in Law Enforcement for 18 years. He and his wife Jill have been married for 13 years, and together they have one son, Noah.

13U
Coach Dave O'Brien grew up in Clemmons NC and played little league, high school, and legion ball for Mocksville. He attended NC State in Raleigh and coached at Athens Drive High School. He moved back to Davie county after starting his family: having twins! He has coached travel ball baseball for over 6 seasons. Dave enjoys teaching kids about the game and watching them develop.

15U SHOWCASE
Coach Blake Little is a Davie County native-born and raised. After attending Davie High as an All-Conference shortstop, he moved north to play NCAA Division II baseball at Bluefield State University. He then completed his Analytics degree at UNC-Wilmington and moved back to Mocksville to explore his new-found love for coaching.
Coach Little is currently the assistant coach for North Iredell High School. In addition to that, he is in his fourth summer coaching for Mocksville-Davie American Legion.
Coach Little specializes in coaching players between the ages of 13-17 years old, enhancing their skill set for high school and beyond.

In addition to being the current Varsity Coach for Davie High School, he put together a legendary career at UNC Charlotte.
He was the centerfielder as a 1993 freshman and making Freshman All-American Honorable Mention that year.
He was a two-time all-conference player, all-American as a senior, and his No. 5 jersey was retired in 1999. Anderson is among just eight .400 hitters in Charlotte history, having hit .401 in 1996. In the 49ers’ single-season record book, he’s third in on-base percentage (.511 in 1996), fourth in triples (eight in 1996) and fifth in triples (seven in 1993) and slugging percentage (.707 in 1996).
Anderson still holds two career records – 875 at-bats and 229 total games played.

Coach Anderson will work with our 13U-16U baseball teams & players, assisting to develop them for High School & beyond.
Our Head Coaches are hand selected by our Executive Board of Directors & have a wide range of experience and talent, both on and off of the field. They balance a competitive edge with the nurturing and growth needed in order for a team to thrive. We select coaches that have demonstrated our values & core coaching ethics, which support our Mission Statement.
There are several reasons we will seek out Head Coaches to join the NCM family:
for team transfers, age expansions, or perhaps when a coach is leaving.
This form helps us find the best candidates for our Head Coaches with NC Made. Please understand that we put a lot of time, energy, and effort into selecting the right fit for our program, which is why we require this. While we may not have any current openings, we often expand age groups. Sometimes, we will also have a coach need to leave for personal reasons and keep a list of candidates
