Our Coaches are hand selected by our Executive Board of Directors & have a wide range of experience and talent, both on and off of the field. They balance a competitive edge with the nurturing and growth needed in order for a team to thrive.
They are a combination of volunteers and hired specialists, such as our Player Development Coach.
In addition to being the current Varsity Coach for Davie High School, he put together a legendary career at UNC Charlotte.
He was the centerfielder as a 1993 freshman and making Freshman All-American Honorable Mention that year.
He was a two-time all-conference player, all-American as a senior, and his No. 5 jersey was retired in 1999. Anderson is among just eight .400 hitters in Charlotte history, having hit .401 in 1996. In the 49ers’ single-season record book, he’s third in on-base percentage (.511 in 1996), fourth in triples (eight in 1996) and fifth in triples (seven in 1993) and slugging percentage (.707 in 1996).
Anderson still holds two career records – 875 at-bats and 229 total games played.

He can recall some of the best memories of his youth were created while playing baseball, and had several influential coaches.
He started coaching in 2019, and joined NCMade in Spring 2025, where his main focus is to allow up and coming youth a chance to expand their skill level with positive encouragement to promote development of basic athletic mechanics. His intent is to conduct an environment that allows player to develop a love for the game while playing competitively and exemplify good character and sportsmanship. His mission is to be an influential figure to our youth to help them in one aspect of their development to become respectable young adults. Jerry’s expertise extends beyond playing. For 20 years, he has been an integral part of the game as an umpire. From high school and Legion matchups to intense college games, he’s seen it all.
Jerry hung up his umpire shirt in 2015 and the same fields where he once played served as the foundation for his coaching journey in 2016. Since 2019, Jerry has served as the president of the Davie Little League. His fair judgment and keen eye have earned him respect among players, coaches, and fans alike. His commitment to nurturing young talent and fostering a love for baseball has made a significant impact. Jerry believes in giving back and wears many hats in the baseball community. He mentors young players and coaches, emphasizing sportsmanship, teamwork, and the joy of the game. Jerry also plays an integral role with the DLL Challenger team, as his daughter, Sarah, is a player on this magnificent team.
His experiences as a player, umpire, and community leader shape his coaching philosophy. Under his guidance, the NC Made team will thrive on and off the field. They will learn not only about baseball but also about character, resilience, and the thrill of competition.

Dave grew up in Clemmons NC and played little league, high school, and legion ball for Mocksville. He attended NC State in Raleigh and coached at Athens Drive High School. He moved back to Davie county after starting his family: having twins! He has coached travel ball baseball for over 6 seasons. Dave enjoys teaching kids about the game and watching them develop.

She is also the Challenger Division Director for NC Little League District 2.
Her happy place is on the field, and interacting with players of baseball, softball, and the Challenger Division. She believes that this is the best time of many kid's lives and wants to contribute to making memories to last their lifetime. She believes players should also grow and learn to compete together as a team, all while making friends & discovering what drives them individually. Respect, hard work, sportsmanship and passion are what drive her teams to succeed. Finding a balance of having fun while taking the game seriously sums up her coaching.
Her other happy place is at home with her husband, Peter, and their son, Aydan, who eats, sleeps and breaths baseball, and her pets. All her players know her dog Maggie. Family is always first, with baseball a very close second.
