While practicing at these fields, please follow these guidelines:

• Bases
  • Ensure base plugs/stops are clean before inserting bases.
  • Do not stomp or force bases into receivers.
  • Do not leave bases sticking up.
• Equipment Setup
  • Place batting mats in all boxes for any batting practice.
  • Position L-screens safely for use (must be removed after).

• Field Equipment
  • Remove all L-screens from the field.
  • Remove batting mats and place them neatly against the wall.
• Infield & Grass Edges
  • Rake or broom all grass-to-dirt edges.
  • Push any dirt back into the infield — do not leave dirt in grass (prevents lips).
• Bases & High-Traffic Areas
  • Rake around all bases, pulling dirt away from the base.
  • Fill in holes and repair worn areas.
  • Rake any heavily used spots (e.g., ground ball areas).
• Pitching Areas
  • Rake all pitching lanes.
  • Broom grass/dirt edges to keep surfaces clean and separated.
• Pitching Mounds (Portable)
  • If moved:
    • Store on warning track (brick chips) — never on infield dirt.
    • Place flat, together, and aligned (same as on field).
    • Never leave standing up or separated.
• NEVER REMOVE ANY THING FROM THE BATTING CAGES

• Trash
  • Completely clean both dugouts.
  • Remove all bottles, trash, and debris.
  • Pick up rocks/debris around backstops and dispose properly.
• Lights
  • Turn lights on only when needed.
  • Do not turn on at arrival if daylight remains.
  • Be mindful: lighting costs average ~$1,200/month.
  • Lower field light switches are by Bird & Co Third Base side, Zach Wright are in the free standing shed between the parking lot and the concession stand. Codes are given out to head coaches each season.
• Closing the Complex
  • Last head coach out is responsible for:
    • Ensuring all people have exited.
    • Securing the facility by locking the gate.
    • Do not share the gate code.

• Missing or damaged items (rakes, brooms, bases, etc.):

While practicing at this field, please follow these guidelines:

 Before, During & After

• Rake around all bases & plate after practice 
• Use batting mat when hitting at home plate 
• Place all nets and screens in the outfield grass after practice
• If mound is used on the field, please place it back to the side when done.
• Base tool is on top of AED box in 3rd base dugout, please put it back when used. 
• DO NOT MESS WITH ANYTHING REGARDING LIGHTS! They will turn on and off automatically. 
• Clean up all trash and throw in trash cans beside bleachers when leaving. 

• Find a staff member on duty at the front desk inside the main building.
